Working at Skydive Colorado Springs has been one of the most unexpected and rewarding chapters of my life.

It’s not your typical 9-to-5. From the moment the hangar doors open, the energy is high. You’re checking in first-timers, editing videos that capture once-in-a-lifetime moments, and making sure everything runs smoothly from gear to manifest. It’s fast-paced, unpredictable, and full of stories you can’t make up.

But the best part? The people.

You become part of a team that feels more like family. You laugh together, hustle together, and support each other—on and off the plane. Whether it’s helping a tandem student through their nerves, celebrating a new A-license, or just sharing sunrise coffee before the first load, every day brings connection and purpose.

I’ve learned so much—not just about skydiving, but about communication, problem-solving, and staying cool when the winds (or manifest board) get wild. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.

Working at a drop zone isn’t just about jumping. It’s about being part of something bigger—creating memories for others, growing in your own journey, and showing up every weekend to do something that truly matters.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like behind the scenes at a DZ, I’ll tell you this: it’s chaotic, beautiful, exhausting, exciting… and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
