Between canopy coaching, tandem adventures, and a Mother’s Day deal that made for some unforgettable memories, the DZ stayed busy whenever the weather cooperated. Whether you were working toward a new license, making your first jump, or just hanging around the hangar with the community, May gave us plenty to smile about.

May brought plenty of great moments to the dropzone. Our USPA B-License Canopy Course with James Herrera helped jumpers sharpen canopy skills, build confidence, and get better under canopy with focused drills and coaching throughout the day.
We also celebrated Mother’s Day the best way we know how: by throwing moms out of airplanes. The Mother’s Day special brought families together for tandem jumps, huge smiles, and memories. Safe to say a lot of moms earned some serious bragging rights this month.

Izzy’s Wings Canopy Course | June 12 – June 14
Izzy’s Wings is returning to Skydive Colorado Springs for another incredible weekend of canopy coaching with Stevie Simpson, open to both beginner and advanced jumpers.
More than just a course, Izzy’s Wings continues to honor Izzy’s legacy through safety education, training, and support for skydivers and families impacted by accidents in the sport. It’s a meaningful event centered around progression, community, and taking care of one another in the sky and on the ground.
