Chasing Goals at Terminal Velocity

Table of Contents

When I started skydiving, I never imagined how quickly it would become a part of who I am. Now, I’m not just here for the jumps—I’m here for the journey. And I’ve set some big goals: I want to become a coach, a videographer, and eventually, an instructor.

Each of those roles represents more than a title—they’re a commitment to growing in this sport and helping others do the same. I want to fly camera to capture the raw emotion of someone’s first skydive, coach new jumpers through their milestones, and eventually instruct students with patience, clarity, and purpose.

But goals need action. So I’m putting in the work now—and one of my biggest goals this season is to reach 100 to 150 jumps by the end of the year.

It won’t be easy, and I know the road won’t be perfect. There will be off landings, scary exits, gear questions, and growing pains. But I’m ready for it. Because every jump is a step closer to the skydiver I want to become.

And the best part? I’m just getting started.
